Project Profile: Sub Sea manifolds for the Britannia Satellites project. Duradek GRP Grating was specified for side impact protection panels to prevent damage by fishing nets to the manifold valves & pipework.
Pipex Structural Composites supplied approx 200
square metres of white Duradek I-6000 38mm GRP
grating fabricated to required shapes ready to fit to the structure.
Advantages include: High impact strength, low weight
for simpler diver access, reduced cathodic protection
and lifecycle costs. White gratingincreased visibility
subsea.
